The Role:
- Location: Wilson, NC 27893
- Assignment duration: ASAP - Ongoing
- Coverage Type: Call Only
- Schedule: Sporadic Dates needed, will be added to the provider pool for ongoing shifts
- Typical Day is 3-5 patients seen, 5 phone consults, 4 admissions
- Facility PEDs Level: 2
- Beds in Department: 12
- Specialty skills required include: low risk and high risk pregnancy care, FHR interpretation (NST/CST/FSE), OB ultrasounds (Level I and Level II), amniocentesis, routine and complicated deliveries (vaginal and C-section), repair of 3rd & 4th degree lacerations, and surgical gynecology (open and laparoscopic diagnostic/minor).
- Must have current experience with circumcisions
- Support Staff: 2 RNs, 1 MA
- Certification Requirements: NC License, Board Certified, Clean File, ACLS, PALS, NRP
- Credentialing Timeframe: 15 days
