The facility offers strong hospitalist support, two colorectal surgeons in the community, and a conveniently located GI clinic less than half a mile from the hospital.
Opportunity:Physician - Gastroenterology
Job Details:- Provide Gastroenterology coverage with 24-hour call in Bay City, Michigan through 2026
- Schedule: Monday through Thursday 7am - 7am (24-hour coverage); Friday 7am - 7pm (12-hour coverage)
- No weekend call required
- ERCP is required
- Hospitalist support available on-site
- Two colorectal surgeons available in the community
- GI clinic located less than half a mile from the hospital
- Active Michigan medical license required (IMLC accepted only when dates are 60+ days out with proof of LOQ)
- Board certification required
- Active DEA license required at time of start
- NPDB self-query required at time of presentation (must be pulled within 30 days)
- Site uses reverse billing - provider must clock in/out using Doc Time; no timesheets will be approved
- Ongoing need for coverage with an anticipated start as soon as possible
Compensation:Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
