Job Details:- Locum Tenens assignment available 8/5 - 8/10; provider must work the full stretch of open dates - partial dates will not be considered
- Provider must have 50 case logs within the past 24 months
- Clinic/hospital schedule: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
- Call coverage required Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 7:00 AM - 7:00 AM
- Call response time required: 15-20 minutes
- Average patients seen while on call: 0-3
- Serves patients 18 years and older in both inpatient and outpatient settings
- Rounding required for both assigned and unassigned patients
- Admissions required
- Charting via Athena/Cerner EMR systems
- Board certification required; fellowship required
- Active California state license required; IMLC/compact license not accepted
- Credentialing timeframe: 120-180 days; temporary privileges granted
- BLS certification required
- Specialty skills include general otolaryngology (surgical and non-surgical), endoscopic procedures (septal, sinus, bronchoscopy, flexible, rigid, laryngoscopy), tracheotomy, thyroidectomy, extended parotidectomy, radical neck surgery, facial reconstruction, facial surgery (facial implants, blepharoplasty, rhinoplasty), and complex/general head and neck procedures
