PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE
  • Hospital Privileges Required: Yes
JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • Board: BC/BE in Emergency Medicine (ABEM)
  • Licenses: Active LA Medical License or IMLC, CDS, DEA with LA address
  • DEA/CDS: Active DEA and CDS required
  • Certifications: ACLS, ALS, PALS (if not BC in EM)
  • Experience: Residency trained in Emergency Medicine required
  • Other Qualifications: CME within past 2 years, case logs, copies of all education & training diplomas, ECFMG if applicable, SS Card, Driver's license, color photo, TB results, flu vaccine, health attestation, interview with Medical Director
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Pro vide comprehensive ER emergency medical care to patients of all ages.
  • Manage acute medical conditions including trauma, cardiac, and respiratory ER emergencies.
  • Perform required ER emergency procedures (e.g., intubation, central lines, etc.).
  • Collaborate with nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and scribes in patient care.
  • Maintain accurate medical records and com ply with hospital policies and regulations.
