Bon Secours Maryview Medical Center is actively seeking an experienced Locum Nurse Practitioner with ICU/Critical Care experience to support Pulmonary Services during the credentialing of new providers. This is a high-priority, ongoing opportunity with flexible scheduling and consistent monthly needs.

June DAY SHIFTS - 1, 2, 11, 18, 20, 21, 24, 25, 29, 30
July Day Shifts:
Night Shifts:
August (Flexible Buy-In) - August ,
- Days or nights TBD closer to dates
Ongoing August & Beyond - Shifts TBD
- Will work around locum availability as much as possible
- Minimum commitment: at least one coverage stint per month
Practice Details
- Setting: Inpatient ICU / Critical Care
- Patient Population: Adult
- Average Census: 13 patients/day (range 1 20)
- APP Role: Working autonomously
️ Key Responsibilities
Vent management (with RT support)
Monitoring and managing critically ill patients
️ Assisting with decompensating patients (including overnight)
Admitting ICU patients from:
- ED
- Hospital floors
- Surrounding hospitals
Communicating with families and discussing goals of care
️ Procedures Required (MUST BE COMFORTABLE)
Central Venous Lines (CVLs)
Arterial lines
Hemodialysis catheters
Technology
️ Credentialing
- FAST turnaround: 2 4 weeks
