Locums Cardiology NP/PA Hood River, OR (Active OR License) Why This Role

• Consistent three-day workweek
• No call, weekends, or inpatient responsibilities
• Six-month contract with possible extension
• Manageable volume of approximately 12 patients daily
• Epic EMR with dedicated clinical support
Assignment Details
• Start Date: December 1, 2026
• Contract Length: Six months with possible extension
• Schedule: Wednesday ÄìFriday, 8:00 AM Äì5:00 PM
• Commitment: Three days weekly, four weeks per month
• Setting: Outpatient Cardiology
• Patient Volume: Approximately 12 per shift
• Call: None
• Admissions: None
• EMR: Epic
• Credentialing: Approximately 90 days
• Temporary Privileges: Unavailable
• Support Team: One RN, one MA, and one office staff member
Requirements
• Board-Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
• Active Oregon NP or PA license
• Active DEA
• Current ACLS and BLS
• Outpatient Cardiology experience
• EKG interpretation proficiency
• Cardiac device-check and stress-testing experience
• Ability to commit to every Wednesday ÄìFriday for six months
• Current CV required at presentation
• Outpatient privileges
Clinical Details
• Evaluate and manage outpatient Cardiology patients
• Supervise echocardiograms and nuclear exercise stress tests
• Perform and oversee office-based stress testing
• Review and sign off on cardiac device checks
• Interpret EKGs
• Coordinate care with cardiac-device technicians and clinic staff
• Provide testing oversight in both the clinic and hospital
• No admitted privileges, call, APP supervision, or teaching responsibilities
