Locums Neurosurgery NP/PA Seattle, WA (Active WA License Required) Why This Role

Assignment Details- Start Date: As soon as privileged; anticipated October 2026
- Duration: Ongoing, likely through spring 2027
- Schedule: Four 10-hour shifts per week
- Shift: 7:00 a.m. Äì5:00 p.m.
- Setting: Inpatient
- Daily Volume: Approximately 10 patients
- Weekend Call: Occasional Saturday and Sunday coverage
- Weekend Hours: 7:00 a.m. Äì7:00 p.m.
- Call Structure: Morning rounds followed by beeper call
- Response Time: 20 minutes
- EMR: Epic
- Credentialing: Approximately 30 Äì60 days
- Temporary Privileges: Available
- Housing: Long-term housing may be considered with advance approval
Requirements- Board-Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
- Active and unrestricted Washington license
- Active DEA
- Current ACLS and BLS
- Previous Neurosurgery experience
- Full-time availability for four 10-hour shifts per week
- Ability to provide occasional weekend rounding and beeper call
Clinical Details- Manage assigned inpatient Neurosurgery patients
- Conduct daily and weekend rounds
- Provide clinical follow-up and care coordination
- Respond to phone consultations and weekend beeper calls
- Collaborate with three Neurosurgery APPs and established clinical support staff
- Surgical first-assist experience is preferred but not required
- No APP supervision or teaching responsibilities
