Compensation & Benefits Compensation

Position Responsibilities
- Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with acute and chronic gastrointestinal conditions
- Conduct comprehensive outpatient consultations and follow-up visits
- Coordinate care before and after endoscopic procedures
- Develop individualized treatment plans and patient education strategies
- Order and interpret laboratory studies, imaging, and diagnostic testing
- Prescribe medications and monitor treatment effectiveness
- Collaborate closely with gastroenterologists and referring providers to ensure continuity of care
- Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation
Qualifications Required
- Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license in New York State
- DEA registration
- Minimum 2 to 3 years of Gastroenterology experience
- Strong clinical judgment and diagnostic skills
- Excellent communication and patient engagement abilities
- Commitment to evidence-based, patient-centered care
Preferred
- Experience treating patients with IBD, liver disease, or GI motility disorders
- Hospital-based GI experience or eligibility for hospital privileges
- Bilingual Spanish proficiency
