Job description

We are seeking a Cardiothoracic Surgery Nurse Practitioner for a weekend call locum opportunity in Pennsylvania.

Schedule

  • Weekend call coverage: Friday 5:00 PM Monday 7:00 AM
  • 24-hour call shifts
  • Coverage needed 3 weekends per month
  • Start: May 2026 Ongoing

Clinical Details

  • Hospital-based role managing cardiothoracic surgery patients
  • Average 4 hours/day of callbacks including rounding
  • Adult patient population
  • Responsibilities include urgent surgical support, post-cath lab cases, and vein harvesting

Support

  • APP team environment with surgeon backup available
  • 163-bed hospital with established cardiac services
  • EMR: EPIC
