# Pediatrician Opportunity - Athens, ALHuntsville 26m Position DetailsSeeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Pediatrician to join the practice.
- Strictly outpatient position; no inpatient rounding required
- Employed position joining a team of 2 physicians and 5 Nurse Practitioners
- Each provider supported by a dedicated MA plus a float MA; RN on staff for telephone triage and medication refills
- Flexible scheduling options: four 10-hour days, five 8-hour days, or four 8-hour days
- Rotating Saturdays (8am to 12pm) possible in the future; if Saturday hours are worked, equivalent time is given back during the same week
- After-hours call rotated equally among all providers on a one-week-at-a-time basis; calls routed through a pediatric phone triage service
- Minimum 100 patients per week; candidates should have the willingness and ability to see 125 per week

Benefits Details- Base salary: $220,000 guaranteed (for a 40-hour work week)
- Production bonus: activates when averaging more than 100 patients per week

Requirements- MD or DO from an accredited medical school
- Completion of an ACGME-accredited Pediatrics residency
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatrics
- Comfortable collaborating closely with Nurse Practitioners
- Team player with strong communication skills; able to close charts within 72 hours
