Job Summary:
Telemetry (TELE) specialty nurse position in a healthcare setting. This role involves providing high-quality patient care within a telemetry unit, focusing on patients requiring continuous cardiac monitoring and acute care. The position offers a mix of scheduled night shifts, including every other weekend and rotating holidays, with a focus on delivering comprehensive telemetry services.
Job Details:
- Schedule: 36 hours per week, night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, with every other weekend and rotating holidays.
- Required Qualifications: Active Connecticut (CT) nursing license or compact license, at least 1 year of acute care experience in medical surgical and telemetry settings, certifications in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS), and familiarity with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.
- Preferred Qualifications: Stroke care experience, orthopedic care experience.
