Our Cancer Center provides medical oncology, radiation oncology, and infusion services so that our patients no longer need to leave their families to travel off-island for modern cancer treatment.
We are looking for an enthusiastic Hematologist/Oncologist to join our growing practice.
Our team consists of infusion nurses, medical assistants, an oncology certified nurse practitioner, and a medical oncologist.
You will be exposed to a variety of types of oncology and hematology diagnoses in our hospital-based outpatient clinic, M-F 8am to 5pm.

Compensation and Benefits - Salary: 556K to 700K per annum (commensurate with experience)

Job Description: - Use the National Comprehensive Cancer Network (NCCN) guidelines to ensure appropriate and effective management of cancer.
- Examines and diagnoses diseases of the blood, bone marrow, vascular and immune system.
- Consults with patients to determine the appropriate course of treatment.
- Recommends and orders tests to determine extent of illness or help diagnose condition expected.
- Expert in drug and hormone cancer treatments prescribing treatment in accordance with conditions.
- Documents findings and treatment regimens and record progress or changes.
- Coordinate with surgical and radiation oncologists as needed,
- Explains cancer development stages to patients, discusses treatment options and assists in meeting pain management needs.
- Prescribes medication or treatment regimens for hospital inpatients and outpatients.
- Orders or interprets the results of tests such as laboratory tests and diagnostic images.
- Attends inpatient consultations in areas of specialty.
- Works well as part of the team.
