Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient and resident care in accordance with nursing standards and facility protocols
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Monitor resident conditions and report changes to nursing leadership and physicians
- Assist with assessments and care planning
- Maintain accurate electronic and written medical records
- Collaborate with Registered Nurses, CNAs, physicians, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
- Promote resident safety, comfort, dignity, and quality of life
LPN Requirements:
- Active Iowa Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) License
- Minimum of one (1) year recent Long Term Care (LTC), Skilled Nursing, Nursing Home, or Rehabilitation experience
- Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Certification
- Strong clinical assessment and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a healthcare team
- Successful completion of background screening and credentialing requirements
