Advanced Heart Failure Cardiologist - Greenville, North CarolinaPosition Type: PermanentClinical Role:

Seeking BC/BE Advanced Heart Failure Cardiologist
Must be advanced heart failure fellowship trained
ABIM certified in advanced heart failure and transplant cardiology
Join established advanced heart failure & mechanical circulatory support program

Practice Setting:

Heart Institute at Medical Center
375,000 sq. ft., 6 cath labs, 4 EP labs, 6 cardiovascular ORs, 1 hybrid OR
120 beds for cardiac medicine, cardiac surgery, and vascular surgery
Department includes: Structural Heart, EP & Arrhythmias, HF, Primary/Secondary Prevention, Vascular

Program Highlights:

Part of 9-hospital physician-led system
Multidisciplinary HF team: cardiologists, HF surgeon, HF pharmacist, social worker, 6 advanced practice providers, HF-certified nurses
Programs include LVAD center, cardiogenic shock/ECMO team, CardioMEMS, pulmonary hypertension program, HF clinical trials
Invasive procedures: heart catheterization, CardioMEMS
29-county referral network ( 1.5M residents)

Licenses & Certifications:

BC/BE in Advanced Heart Failure
ABIM certified in Advanced Heart Failure & Transplant Cardiology
