Job description

A respected healthcare organization in Mississippi is seeking a Board-Certified Interventional Cardiologist to join an established cardiovascular program. This is a permanent opportunity offering a balanced mix of inpatient and outpatient care, supported by a collaborative team and advanced clinical resource

Position Details

Permanent, employed opportunity
Immediate start available
Inpatient and outpatient cardiology practice
Scheduled clinical hours plus call coverage
Epic EMR system
Hospital privileges required
Admissions responsibilities included

Practice Highlights

Patient volume of approximately patients per shift
30-bed department
Inpatient and outpatient rounding
Dedicated nursing and administrative support staff
Stroke-certified facility

Clinical Scope

The ideal candidate will be comfortable practicing a broad range of cardiology services, including:

General and non-invasive cardiology
Echocardiography and TEE
Nuclear cardiology
STEMI management
Diagnostic cardiac catheterization
Interventional cardiology procedures
Angioplasty (PTCA)
Coronary stent placement
Management of complex cardiovascular patients

Requirements

MD or DO
Board Certification in Cardiology
Eligible for medical licensure
Strong inpatient and outpatient cardiology experience
Commitment to high-quality, patient-centered care
