2nd Shift: 2:30 pm to 11:00 pm
What You Will Do:
- Efficiently operate a variety of material handling and packaging equipment.
- Accurately identify parts, components, wires, and other materials using part markings, color codes, and container labels.
- Follow desktop instructions, parts lists, forms, and other work instructions to complete tasks precisely.
- Perform bulk counting using scales and tape & reel counters.
- Fulfill orders according to Bill of Material (BOM) requirements.
- Package parts appropriately to prevent damage, adhering to proper material handling and packaging techniques.
- Store, shelve, and place inventory correctly following established procedures.
- Utilize computer systems and printers for recording inventory transactions, generating labels, and labor charging.
- Conduct cycle counts and meticulously record results.
- Track materials both physically and within systems.
- Package and ship materials following specific shipping instructions.
- Distribute materials to various internal plant locations.
- Build and break down boxes for various uses.
- Collect and dispose of materials correctly.
- Maintain adequate levels of packaging supplies and replenish as needed.
- Recognize and address inventory discrepancies and work area issues promptly.
- Maintain accurate records of all work performed, including cycle counts and labor charging.
- Train other employees and perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications You Must Have:
- Typically requires HS diploma (or equivalent, e.g. G.E.D. in the US) or vocational/technical education in related discipline.
- Must be a U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or granted refugee or asylee status) as defined here:
