Job SummaryThe die-cut operator is responsible for the preparation, adjustment and operation of the cutting machines to produce high-quality folding cartons according to company standards. It ensures safety, accuracy and productivity while meeting production deadlines.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and configure the cutting machine according to job specifications.
- Read, interpret and understand production records.
- Operate, analyze and adjust cutting dies to required specifications.
- Ensure proper maintenance, storage and storage of cutting dies to maintain their integrity and durability.
- Monitor production progress and make adjustments as necessary to ensure quality and accuracy of cuts.
- Perform regular quality checks and identify defects.
- Provide basic preventative maintenance and cleaning of the machine.
- Collaborate with other team members to optimize workflow.
- Document production activities and report any technical incidents or problems.
- Apply all internal procedures and occupational health and safety standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized and safe work environment.
- Any other related tasks.
Qualifications and Experience- Relevant experience in printing or folding carton production.
- Knowledge of cutting machines and materials used.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Attention to detail and rigor in quality control.
- Ability to work standing and handle heavy materials.
- Good communication and team player.
- Organizational skills and respect for deadlines.

Compensation: $20.16 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
