Physician/Doctor - Internal Medicine
Location: OR
Schedule: Unrestricted 24-hour call coverage (call-only; report if called in and follow up with rounding the next morning as needed)
Position Overview
Provide inpatient neurology consult coverage (vascular neurology noted in Order details), including stroke and neuro-interventional consults and procedures as privileged.
Key Responsibilities
Provide neurology consultations in collaboration with hospitalists and other specialty disciplines
Respond to on-call requests and complete follow-up rounding as needed
Perform stroke consults and neuro-interventional consults
Perform neuro-interventional procedures as required within scope of privileges
Document care using EPIC (Proficient User)
Required Qualifications
MD or DO with active, unrestricted Oregon license
Board Certification in Neurology
EPIC proficiency
Ability to provide documentation of surgical/procedural services representative of privileges requested within the previous 24 months (or a training log if training completed within the past year)
