Cardiology - Interventional Physician

OnCall Solutions is partnering on an ongoing Interventional Cardiology locum opportunity in Merced, California. This is a 100% inpatient role supporting a high-demand cardiac program with an emphasis on providing local care and reducing patient transfers.

Opportunity Highlights

• ASAP start pending credentialing

• Ongoing coverage

• 1.0 FTE

• Monday Friday schedule + call

• call days per month, variable

• Standard inpatient hours + after-hours call

• 100% inpatient setting

• No clinic or office responsibilities

• Adult/geriatric patient population

• Cerner EMR

• Dedicated Cath Lab RN/Tech support

Clinical Responsibilities

• Diagnostic cardiac catheterizations

• PCI

• Cardiac consultations

• Inpatient rounds and hospital consults

• Unassigned EKGs

• Echocardiograms

• Inpatient cardiac management

• Cath Lab coverage

Requirements

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Interventional Cardiology

• Interventional Cardiology fellowship required

• Active California medical license required

• Clean malpractice/background

• Availability to start ASAP pending credentialing
