REQUIRED PROCEDURES
  • Required
    • Upper GI endoscopy (with biopsy, with foreign body removal, with fulguration of bleeder (cautery vs. laser), With injection of varices)
    • ERCP (endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography) (Diagnostic, Therapeutic)
    • With PEG (percutaneous endoscopic gastrostomy)
    • Esophageal dilatation/manometry
    • Esophageal manometry interpretation
    • Small Bowel biopsy
    • Lower GI endoscopy
    • Sigmoidoscopy (Flexible, Rigid)
    • Colonoscopy (with biopsy, with excision of polyp)
    • Endoscopic ultrasound (EUS)
    • Insertion/management of Sengstaken/Blakemore tube
  • Preferred
    • Liver biopsy
JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • Board: BC
  • Licenses: Active WI license or willing to obtain
  • Certifications: BLS, ACLS
  • Fellowship: Required
Duties & Responsibilities
  • Provide outpatient clinic consultations and follow-up for gastroenterology patients.
  • Perform scheduled endoscopic procedures including upper GI endoscopy, colonoscopy, and sigmoidoscopy.
  • Manage inpatient census of 28-30 patients, including rounding and ICU/IMCU consults.
  • Collaborate with APC support staff in clinic and endoscopy teams.
  • Utilize EPIC EMR for documentation and order entry.
