Job Requirements
- Board certified or board eligible in Emergency Medicine
- At least 1 year of emergency medicine experience preferred
- Family Medicine or Internal Medicine physicians with emergency medicine experience may be considered
- Current ACLS, ATLS, and PALS certifications required
- Comfort managing higher-acuity emergency cases and performing standard ER procedures
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with a multidisciplinary healthcare team
Responsibilities
- Provide emergency care to a broad range of patients, including higher-acuity Level 4 and Level 5 cases
- Perform standard emergency department procedures as needed
- Evaluate, stabilize, and manage patients presenting with urgent and emergent conditions
- Support care for critically ill patients, including intubations and central lines when indicated
- Work efficiently in a busy emergency department with an average census of 81 patients
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and clinical support staff to ensure timely, high-quality patient treatment
