- Short Term Disability/Long Term Disability Emergency Room Nurse / Acute Care Job Responsibilities Under general direction, provides nursing care in collaboration with the patients and serves as a resource person for staff; evaluates patients' qualifications for clinical research studies; presents lectures, seminars, programs, or conferences; responsible for collaboration, facilitation, and implementation of research projects; provides direct clinical service to patients and families including psychosocial assessment, crisis intervention, counseling, supportive therapy, behavior modification, care management, and patient education. - ADN required
- BSN preferred - Will accept ADN if enrolled in BSN program - Must have BSN in 36 months (3yrs)
- Must have 2 years of current, recent ER experience.
- MUST have acute care experience in a hospital setting
- Proof of American Heart Association Healthcare Provide
- Current Texas State Licensure as a Registered Nurse (Compact license is accepted but TX State RN license required within 30 days of hired
