INTERNAL MEDICINE CLINICAL CARDIAC ELECTROPHYSIOLOGY

POSITION SUMMARY
The Department seeks a clinical cardiac electrophysiology specialist to join a multidisciplinary cardiology program that includes non invasive cardiology, interventional cardiology, electrophysiology, structural cardiology, and cardiothoracic surgery. The role includes performing the full range of electrophysiology procedures, participating in a collaborative team environment, and contributing to a high quality regional heart program. The position supports a growing service with opportunities for professional development and utilization of advanced techniques.
QUALIFICATIONS
• Board eligible or board certified in Cardiovascular Disease and/or Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology.
• Residency training in internal medicine.
• Fellowship training in cardiovascular disease and electrophysiology.
• Eligibility for medical licensure in New Mexico.
• Interest in providing comprehensive electrophysiology services within a multidisciplinary cardiac program.
COMPETENCIES
• Ability to perform a full range of electrophysiology procedures and device implantation.
• Skill in managing arrhythmias and providing advanced electrophysiologic care.
• Effective collaboration with cardiologists, surgeons, and multidisciplinary teams.

• Capacity to support program growth and participate in team based clinical development.

Work Environment: Hospital; Inpatient; Outpatient; Clinic/Private Practice
