A progressive, community-focused regional health system in Georgia is seeking a full-time Family Medicine Core Faculty Physician to join a growing ACGME-accredited residency program. This role offers a blend of outpatient continuity care, resident education, curriculum development, and protected administrative time ideal for physicians passionate about teaching and shaping future family physicians.
Position Overview
- Full-time Family Medicine Core Faculty position
- Ideal candidate has prior GME or teaching experience, but not required
- Monday Friday schedule, 8 AM 5 PM
- Weekly structure includes:
- 2 clinic days
- 1 precepting day
- Dedicated GME administrative/education time
- No overnight call unless choosing optional OB or inpatient adult medicine coverage
- Provide full-spectrum FM continuity care in a modern outpatient clinic
- Teach and supervise residents through:
- Precepting
- Didactic lectures
- Curriculum development
- Program innovation and scholarly collaboration
- Opportunities to teach and supervise residents in low-risk obstetrics and inpatient care
