JOB REQUIREMENTS

Board: BC/BE in Emergency Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Family Medicine
Licenses: Active, unrestricted Ohio medical license; Active DEA with Ohio address and schedules 2,2N,3,3N,4,5
DEA / CDS: Active DEA with Ohio address and schedules 2,2N,3,3N,4,5
Certifications: NRP required; ACLS, PALS, ATLS required for FM/IM physicians
Experience: Residency trained in EM, IM, or FM
Other Qualifications: Case logs for previous 2 years; seasonal influenza vaccine required

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide comprehensive emergency medical care to patients in a 17-bed ED with approximately 25,000 annual visits.
Work 12-hour shifts, including both 7a-7p and 7p-7a coverage.
Supervise Physician Assistants and collaborate with Nurse Practitioners (22 hours/day APP support).
Perform moderate sedation and other emergency procedures as required.
Maintain required certifications and documentation including case logs and immunizations.
