Rheumatology Physician

Saint Francis Healthcare system is seeking a BC/BE Rheumatologist to provide comprehensive outpatient care and hospital consultations.

Practice Details:

• Multi- specialty Clinic located within Saint Francis Medical Center, with direct access to outpatient pharmacy, imaging, and lab services. Specialties including Rheumatology, Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, and Nephrology.
• Clinic hours: Monday Friday, 8:00 AM 4:00 PM
• Established volume and patient panel
• Dedicated MA for clinic
• EMR: EPIC

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and manage rheumatologic conditions, including rheumatoid arthritis, lupus, gout, osteoporosis, and other autoimmune disorders
• Create individualized treatment plans, including medication management and infusion therapy
• Coordinate comprehensive care with primary care physicians and specialists
• Review and interpret lab results, imaging, and other diagnostic studies
• Educate patients on disease management, lifestyle changes, and treatment options

Qualifications:

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution
• Completion of an accredited Internal Medicine residency and Rheumatology fellowship
• Board certified or board eligible in Rheumatology
• Current, unrestricted medical license in the applicable state, or eligibility to obtain licensure
• Current DEA registration and required controlled-substance credentials, as applicable
• Eligibility for medical staff privileges and payer credentialing
• Strong diagnostic, procedural, documentation, communication, and interdisciplinary collaboration skills
• Commitment to compassionate, evidence-based, patient-centered care

Compensation and Benefits Package:

• $347,00 base or greater of the 1 st two years, third year on pure productivity
• $50,000 Commencement Bonus or Monthly Stipend option for Residents
• Student loan reimbursement of up to $42,000 per year, PSLF qualifying site
• Relocation Allowance up to $15,000
• Comprehensive benefits include 25 days of PTO, CME time + stipend, paid malpractice, with trail coverage, health + dental insurance, and retirement plans.
