Role Overview- PRN, shifts available: weekends, evening call coverage and weekday coverage (when needed)
- Hours 8-5, round-and-go
- Provide psychiatric patient care to adults and adolescence in an inpatient setting
- Conduct psychiatric evaluations, diagnostic assessments, and mental status examinations
- Diagnose and treat psychiatric, behavioral, and neurocognitive disorders
- Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications
- Evaluate behavioral and safety concerns
- Provide interventions and behavioral management
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams across care settings
- Typical case load 14-16 patients/day
Compensation and Benefits- Daily rate (W2 position)
- Paid after-hour call coverage (voluntary/by rotation)
- Paid professional liability insurance with tail coverage
Qualifications- Active, unrestricted Tennessee license as a PMHNP
- Active DEA or willingness to obtain
- Minimum of 1-year experience as a PMHNP clinician in an inpatient setting
