A well-established healthcare organization in Southern Oregon is seeking a Senior Medical Director to join its leadership team. This is an excellent opportunity for a physician who wants to remain clinically active while stepping into a meaningful senior leadership role.
The position offers a highly attractive 50% leadership / 50% provider structure, a four-day workweek, protected administrative time, and flexibility to complete portions of administrative work remotely.

Clinical Practice
The Senior Medical Director will maintain an active primary care practice while serving in a key physician leadership capacity.
The provider portion of the schedule is structured approximately 60% clinical / 40% administrative, allowing dedicated time for responsibilities outside of direct patient care.
- Patient care hours generally 8:00 AM 4:40 PM
- Approximately 18 patient templates per full clinical day

Leadership Responsibilities
The Senior Medical Director will work closely with clinical and executive leadership to support:
- Clinical quality and performance
- Physician and provider support
- Clinical standards and best practices
- Provider coaching and development
- Quality improvement initiatives
- Provider engagement and retention
- Clinical policies and protocols
- Strategic and operational initiatives
Call
Call is shared among providers and is generally light, averaging approximately 4 7 calls per month. Calls most commonly involve matters such as urgent laboratory results.
Compensation & Benefits
- Base Salary: $254,176
- Sign-On Bonus: $7,000
