This role offers the opportunity to develop and enhance both inpatient and limited outpatient palliative care services in a supportive and collaborative environment.Position Overview:Role:
- Join an established, collaborative, and collegial inpatient palliative care team.
- Work alongside one physician, a dedicated full-time LPN, and a full-time licensed social worker.
- Lead the development of an outpatient program to enhance palliative care services.Responsibilities:
- Oversee the design and implementation of an outpatient palliative care clinic.
- Develop and grow a Home-Based Palliative Care Nurse Practitioner program.
- Experience in palliative medicine within an acute care hospital setting is preferred.
- Program management experience is advantageous.Requirements:Education:
- Board Certification in Hospice and Palliative Care through the American Academy of Hospice and Palliative Medicine.
- Board Certification in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or General Surgery.
- Completion of an accredited Palliative Medicine Fellowship.
- Current Georgia Medical License or eligibility to obtain one.Schedule:
