Job description

Assignment

Duration: September/October 2026 March 2027
Schedule: 7 consecutive shifts per month (minimum)
Shift: 24-hour pager call, 7a 7a
Scope: Call coverage only, no clinic
EMR: Epic

Case Mix
CABG, AVR, MVR, TAVR, EVAR, Carotid Endarterectomy, Impella insertion, VATS, Thoracotomy, Pericardial Window, Rib/Sternal Plating, Sternum Rewire

Volume
Average CV census of patients, including rounding.

Requirements

Board Certified or truly Board Eligible in Cardiovascular/Cardiothoracic Surgery
Active Texas license required
Epic experience required
Full support staff in place
