Neurologist (MD/DO) - Full-Time

Position Overview A large multispecialty group in New York City is actively seeking a
Full-Time Neurologist to provide high-quality, patient-centered neurological care in an outpatient setting in the Bronx. This opportunity is ideal for physicians interested in managing a wide range of neurological conditions while working within a collaborative, well-supported environment.
J-1 visa candidates are accepted and encouraged to apply. Key Responsibilities Patient Care & Evaluation
- Diagnose and treat a broad spectrum of neurological conditions including headaches, epilepsy, stroke, neuropathy, and movement disorders.
- Perform comprehensive neurological exams and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests such as EEGs, EMGs, MRIs, and CT scans.
Clinical Management
- Prescribe and manage medications and therapies for both acute and chronic neurological conditions.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as needed.
- Provide follow-up care and continuity for long-term neurological conditions.
Care Coordination & Collaboration
- Collaborate with primary care physicians, specialists, and interdisciplinary teams.
- Coordinate referrals for advanced care, imaging, and rehabilitation services.
Patient Education
- Educate patients and families on neurological conditions, treatment options, and preventive care.
- Provide guidance on lifestyle modifications and disease management.
Documentation & Compliance
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in EMR/EHR systems.
- Ensure adherence to clinical protocols and regulatory standards.
Qualifications
- MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurology.
- Active or eligible for New York State medical license.
- J-1 visa candidates accepted.
- Experience in outpatient neurology preferred; new graduates may be considered.
- Strong clinical judgment and diagnostic skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
