Certified Anesthesiologist Assistant Job Details

Certified Anesthesiologist Assistant Qualifications
- Certified Anesthesiologist Assistant (CAA) credential required
- Minimum 1 year of anesthesia experience preferred
- Ability to work full-time: 4x10 hour shifts per week
- Willingness to travel between Texas healthcare facilities as needed
- Experience with Cerner EMR preferred
- Flexibility to assist with anesthesia blocks, spinals, and epidurals
Anesthesiologist Assistant Responsibilities
- Deliver anesthesia care under medical supervision for general, orthopedic, gynecological, and ENT procedures
- Collaborate with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and perioperative healthcare staff to ensure safe patient outcomes
- Conduct pre-operative assessments, manage intraoperative anesthesia, and support post-operative recovery
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation using Cerner EMR
- Travel between Resolute Baptist Hospital and North Central Baptist Hospital as scheduled
- Demonstrate professionalism, adaptability, and clinical excellence in a fast-paced hospital environment
