Practice Setting and Clinical Scope
This position is based in a respected outpatient setting, focusing on the diagnosis, staging, precision medicine, symptom management, and treatment of hematology and oncology patients. You will provide oversight for both the oncology/hematology clinic and infusion services. The infusion center offers treatments including chemotherapy, immunotherapy, blood and platelet transfusions, hormone therapy, antibiotic therapy, rheumatoid arthritis injections, and therapeutic phlebotomies. With a patient volume of 15-20 per day, you will be engaged in a professionally rewarding and challenging environment.
Schedule and Assignment Details
The assignment includes a weekday schedule of Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, with remote call coverage from Friday 5 PM to Monday 8 AM. Weekday nights involve remote call from Monday to Thursday, 5 PM to 8 AM. Qualifications
Candidates must be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Oncology or Hematology, with a current CA license and DEA certification. A fellowship in the field is required, and ACLS certification is necessary if requesting moderate sedation privileges.
