Schedule
3 5 shifts per month
12-hour shifts
Must be willing to rotate days, nights, and weekends
Primary need is for night shift coverage
Part-time and PRN availability considered
Practice Setting
Patient Population
Patient Volume
Clinical Responsibilities
NICU patient management
Attendance at high-risk deliveries
Ventilator management
Intubations
Central line placement (PICC, UAC, UVC)
Lumbar punctures
ECMO support experience preferred (patients managed by fellows)
Work independently and autonomously within a Level IV NICU environment
Requirements
Board Certified Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP)
Active Virginia license required
DEA required
CSR required
BLS required
PALS required
Minimum of 2 years of NICU experience
Neonatal training required
Level IV NICU experience required
High-risk delivery experience required
Must be comfortable practicing independently
Credentialing
