Job Requirements
- Board certification in OB/GYN required
- Fellowship training preferred
- Current BLS certification required
- Strong clinical skills in low-risk and high-risk pregnancy management
- Experience with fetal heart rate interpretation, OB ultrasounds, amniocentesis, and operative deliveries
- Proficiency in managing complicated deliveries, including C-sections, breech presentations, VBACs, and multiple births
- Ability to perform office-based and minor gynecology procedures as well as surgical gynecology procedures
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced labor and delivery environment
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care for patients across a wide range of acuity levels
- Manage laborist coverage, including routine deliveries and complex obstetric cases
- Interpret fetal monitoring studies and perform obstetric ultrasound assessments
- Support high-risk pregnancy care and assist with clinical decision-making for cesarean delivery when needed
- Perform gynecologic procedures such as IUD placement, colposcopy, cystoscopy, cryosurgery, and LEEP
- Handle surgical gynecology cases, including laparoscopic and operative procedures
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and support staff to provide timely, patient-centered care
- Maintain high standards of safety, quality, and professionalism in all patient encounters
