Description Studio 0172 is a local Amazon Freight Partner hiring full-time Class A CDL drivers in the East Bay. We haul exclusively for Amazon - a small local business with the backing of a large one. This is 100% no-touch, drop-and-hook freight in brand-new, Amazon-branded trucks: you connect to your trailer, inspect, and roll. You're home after every shift. What you'll do - Haul Amazon loads - 100% no-touch freight in newer Amazon-branded equipment - Run local and regional routes that have you home after every shift - Work a full schedule - 3 shifts of 13 hours - 4 shifts of 13 hours (alternate weeks), with extra shifts and overtime - Keep Amazon's promise to customers: the right package, the right place, on time What you get - $25.00/hr to start + weekly performance and safety bonuses - dependable drivers who run full schedules earn $60,000-$75,000/yr - Home every 2 days - home after every shift, more time with family - 100% no-touch, drop-and-hook freight - no lumping, no hand-unloading - Brand-new, Amazon-branded trucks (automatics) and technology - Consistent, year-round schedule - steady work all year, not seasonal - W-2 employment with health and dental insurance, PTO from day one, 401(k) - Paid training from your first day - Referral bonus - bring a good driver, get paid - Room to grow into lead-driver and trainer roles as we expand What you'll need - Valid Class A CDL in good standing - no current suspension or revocation - 21+ years old - 6 months recent Class A experience (53-ft tractor-trailer a plus) - Clean MVR and good DAC report - Pass a DOT physical, pre-employment drug screen, background check, and MVR review - Able to speak, read, and write in English to understand traffic signs, respond to official inquiries, and complete reports (FMCSA requirement) - Able to use a smartphone/handheld apps (GPS, dispatch) - Legally authorized to work in the U.S. You will not be employed by Amazon; you'll work directly for Studio 0172, a local transportation company that partners with Amazon.
