This leadership role is pivotal in advancing the institution's nationally recognized Breast Center and shaping the future of breast surgical care within a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as Co-Director of the Breast Center, partnering with hospital and medical group leadership to guide clinical, educational, and research initiatives.
- Lead and innovate in breast surgical practices, ensuring the delivery of exceptional, personalized patient care.
- Collaborate closely with the Director of Women's Imaging to co-lead program development and operational excellence.
- Support resident and medical student education, fostering a culture of learning and mentorship.
- Contribute to quality improvement efforts and maintain compliance with accreditation standards.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and represent the department at institutional and community events.
- 100% breast surgery
- No general surgery call, breast surgery call only
Requirements:
- MD or DO
- Board Certification in general surgery
- Fellowship-trained in breast surgery, with a demonstrated record of clinical excellence and leadership.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on collaborative team building.
- Proven experience in managing or leading surgical teams or departments.
- Commitment to high-quality, patient-centered care and ongoing professional development.
