Job description



  • Open dates: Sept 21-Oct 1; Oct 5-Oct 12; Nov 9-Nov 16; Nov 23-Nov 30; 2027: open.
  • Setting: Inpatient and outpatient; weekend inpatient-only coverage.
  • Call: Included; phone consults 5-10/day.
  • Call Type: Beeper
  • 20-minute call time response required
  • Duties: Clinic, elective OR, inpatient rounding on active consults; call coverage; admissions managed by hospitalists.
  • Patients: Primarily adults; very few pediatrics.
  • Facility: Trauma level 4; PEDs level 0.
  • EMR System: Athena (Clinic), Medhost (Hospital)
  • No Admissions
  • Hospital is Stroke Certified
  • Support Staff: 1 MA, 2 Office/Staff
  • Requirements: Board Certified/Board Eligible
  • Fellowship preferred
  • Certifications: ACLS and BLS required; ABLS/ATLS/PALS not required.
  • Credentialing: 60 days.
