Pulmonary/Sleep Medicine NP Opening Cambridge, MAFull TimePermanent PositionSeeking Nurse Practitioner to join Pulmonary and Sleep Medicine team in Cambridge, MassachusettsPosition Highlights:Practice within a Pulmonary and Sleep Medicine specialty programOpportunity to manage patients with pulmonary disorders and sleep-related conditionsCollaborative environment working alongside Pulmonologists, Sleep Medicine specialists, nursing staff, and multidisciplinary care teamsOutpatient-focused role with opportunity for longitudinal patient relationshipsParticipate in patient evaluation, diagnosis, treatment planning, and follow-up careUtilize evidence-based approaches to respiratory and sleep health managementAcademic medical center environment with opportunities for professional growthResponsibilities:Perform comprehensive patient assessments and physical examinationsEvaluate and manage pulmonary and sleep medicine patientsDevelop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physiciansProvide patient education regarding disease management and treatment optionsOrder and interpret appropriate diagnostic studiesMaintain accurate and timely clinical documentationCoordinate care with multidisciplinary teamsUtilize electronic medical record and clinical information systemsQualifications:Master's Degree in Nursing requiredMassachusetts Nursing License requiredMassachusetts APRN authorization requiredValid Massachusetts prescriptive authorityFederal DEA registration requiredBasic Life Support (BLS) certification requiredAmerican Heart Association BLS certification required1-3 years of related clinical experience requiredStrong computer skills including: - Web-based applications - Microsoft Outlook - Word - Excel - PowerPointCompensation & Benefits:Salary range: $113,776 - $150,000 annuallyCompensation based on experience, education, certifications, and responsibilitiesComprehensive medical, dental, and vision insuranceRetirement plan optionsPaid time offCME and professional development opportunitiesMalpractice coverageCompetitive benefits packageCommunity Highlights:Located in Cambridge, MassachusettsAdjacent to Boston and world-renowned academic medical institutionsRich educational, cultural, and professional opportunitiesWalkable community with excellent public transportationOutstanding restaurants, arts, and entertainmentAccess to New England beaches, mountains, and outdoor recreationOne of the nation's premier healthcare and research hubs
