Expanding practice seeks an Endocrinologist to work in San Diego, California!

  • Opportunity to supervise nurses and serve as preceptor for PAs and NPs developing in expanded medical roles


Compensation:
  • Hourly pay range: $147.61 $200.99/hour, based on experience and qualifications


Job/Practice Description: Endocrinology
  • Manages and provides acute, chronic, preventive, curative, and rehabilitative medical care
  • Experience with transitions of care, chronic disease management, and advanced goals-of-care discussions
  • Inpatient skilled nursing coverage and call coverage as assigned by the Medical Director
  • Case management of clinic patients admitted to hospitals, with referrals to medical specialties
  • Consultative services for complex diagnostic or therapeutic problems as requested
  • Interdisciplinary team care planning
  • Preferred skills: skin biopsy, excision of skin lesions, suturing, casting, sigmoidoscopy, and phlebotomy
  • Must obtain staff privileges at local hospitals and nursing homes


Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited school of Medicine
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in a primary care specialty
  • Current CA MD/DO and DEA license
  • CPR certification
  • Completion of clinical training
