Opportunity:Advanced Practitioners - Critical Care
Job Details:- Join a top-tier critical care team as a Physician Assistant or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner in an inpatient critical care setting
- Practice at the top of your license with opportunities to manage complex patients and perform advanced procedures
- Part-time 24 hours per week with a day/night rotating schedule, Monday through Sunday
- No call required
- Significant responsibility during off-hours with access to intensivist collaboration when needed
- Perform routine physical examinations and formulate medical, educational, and psychosocial plans to treat patients
- Develop plans for further evaluation of health needs, including referrals to other health team members or specialists
- Provide appropriate treatment for problems within the scope of practice as designated by protocols
- Must hold an unrestricted State of Connecticut Medical License (or be eligible)
- Minimum 1+ years of experience in a critical care setting as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant required
- Dedicated support and voice for Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants through the Office of Advanced Practice
