About the Opportunity
A well-established behavioral health program in Ventura County is seeking a Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist (MD/DO) to join their outpatient team. This role focuses on providing high-quality psychiatric care to children and adolescents in a collaborative, patient-centered environment.
Position Highlights

Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations for children and adolescents
- Provide medication management and ongoing treatment planning
- Collaborate with therapists, social workers, and care teams
- Participate in treatment team meetings and care coordination
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation
Qualifications
- MD or DO Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry
- Child & Adolescent Psychiatry fellowship preferred (or equivalent experience)
- Active California license (or ability to obtain)
- DEA required
Preferred Qualifications
- Bilingual (Spanish) strongly preferred
- Experience in outpatient or community-based pediatric psychiatry
- Team-oriented with strong communication skills
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $300,000 $375,000 annually
