Job Responsibilities
- Conduct upper and lower GI endoscopies, including biopsies and polyp excisions.
- Perform diagnostic and therapeutic ERCP procedures.
- Carry out necessary procedures such as sigmoidoscopy, colonoscopy, and insertion/management of Sengstaken-Blakemore tubes.
- Engage in the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of general gastrointestinal conditions.
Qualifications
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
- Proven expertise in internal medicine - gastroenterology procedures
Working Hours
- Monday through Friday
- 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Skills
- Proficiency in upper GI endoscopy with biopsy and foreign body removal
- Ability to perform procedures like fulguration of bleeder and injection of varices
- Competence in small bowel biopsy, flexible and rigid sigmoidoscopy
- Experience with therapeutic endoscopic techniques
