Job description

A well-established Northern California healthcare system is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Interventional Cardiologist to provide locum tenens coverage for an ongoing assignment. This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative team and provide high-quality cardiovascular care in a hospital-based setting.

Assignment Details
  • Inpatient coverage
  • 24-hour beeper call only
  • Shift hours: 7:00 AM 7:00 AM
  • Average patient volume: patients per shift
    • Call response time: 20 minutes
    • No APP supervision required
    • No admissions required
    • Stroke-certified hospital
    • Epic EMR

Requirements
  • Active California medical license
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Interventional Cardiology
  • ACLS and BLS certifications
  • Active DEA registration
  • Active Fluoroscopy certification required
  • Recent hospital-based clinical experience in specialty preferred
  • Ability to obtain privileges within the facility s credentialing timeframe (approximately days)
