Job description

  • Seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible, fellowship-trained Interventional Cardiologist to join a well-established, hospital employed Heart & Vascular practice.
  • Join 7 physicians and 5 Nurse Practitioners
  • Base salary options :
    • Option : Base of $705,561 (50%tile MGMA for those just completing training) with additional compensation for experience, guaranteed for 2 years. Can be switched to a wRVU production contract when exceeding target.
    • Option : Base of $874,577 (75%tile MGMA) guaranteed for one year and then switched to a wRVU production contract.
  • Office hours: Monday - Thursday 8 am to 5 pm and Friday 8 am to 12 pm
  • Call
    • 1:3 weekends
    • 1 night per week
    • STEMI call shared with two other Interventional Cardiologists
    • Opportunity to earn additional compensation by joining a Pay for Call program
  • Case load:
    • Office week 60/day
    • Inpatient rounding week 30-40/day
    • Cath lab week 12-14/day
  • Equipment available: Phillips ECHO systems, Phillips XPER Hemodynamics Cath Lab, Phillips Intellispace Cardiovascular, EECP Bed, EMR: Meditech Expance
  • Full benefits package including 10K for moving, CME allowance, 457 deferred comp plan, 403B retirement, paid malpractice insurance, health, and other insurances, 232 hours of PTO (an additional 40 hours offered when producing 75th percentile RVUs), full health coverage, and more!
  • $200,000 in student loan debt assistance, residency stipend up to $25,000, and sign-on bonus of 15% base salary offered (up to $100,000)
  • Located 1 hour from Huntington, WV, 2 hours from Cincinnati, Dayton, Columbus, and Charleston, WV and 2.5 hours from Lexington, KY
  • H1B visa sponsorship available
