Coverage Needed: 3 weekends per month
Job Description: We are seeking a Locum NP or PA to support the Cardiothoracic Surgery team in Lebanon, PA. This role provides weekend coverage for urgent and semi-urgent cardiac surgery patients, including ICU management, post-op care, and consultation with the attending surgeon.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide 24-hour weekend coverage for cardiac surgery patients
- Perform rounding, urgent consults, and post-op follow-up (average 4 hours/day)
- Assist with procedures such as vein harvesting
- Collaborate with attending surgeons, ICU staff, and other APPs
- Maintain accurate documentation in EPIC
- Coordinate patient care from cath lab to surgery and ICU to discharge
