FACILITY INFORMATION
  • Trauma Level: Level I
  • Support Staff Available: Manager, 2 APPs
PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE
  • Hospital Privileges Required: Yes
  • Credentialing Timeline: 90 days (expedited possible)
REQUIRED PROCEDURES
  • Angioplasty
  • Stent placement
  • Embolization
  • Needle biopsy
  • Thrombolysis
  • UFE (Uterine Fibroid Embolization)

JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • Board: BC in Interventional Radiology
  • Licenses: Active Michigan License (IMLC not accepted)
  • Certifications: BLS, ACLS
  • Other Qualifications: Local provider preferred; clean malpractice & license history (preferred); NPDB self-query required
Duties & Responsibilities
  • Perform interventional radiology procedures including angioplasty, stent placement, embolization, needle biopsy, thrombolysis, and UFE.
  • Provide hospital-based IR services during day shifts (Mon-Fri, 7a-5p).
  • Participate in Q3 call coverage (weekdays and weekends).
  • Collaborate with 2 APPs and other IR physicians.
  • Manage adult and geriatric patient populations.
