Job Title: Locum - Physician - Radiology - Interventional Summary:
Join a dynamic team at a leading healthcare facility in Bismarck, North Dakota. We are seeking a skilled Interventional Radiologist for locum IR coverage. The position offers an 8-hour workday from 8 AM to 4 PM, including evening call from 4 PM to 8 AM, and 24-hour weekend call. This role is ideal for candidates with strong interventional capabilities, particularly in stroke procedures, though not mandatory. Experience with a broad range of interventions is essential.
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic vascular interventions including angiography (venous and arterial).
- Conduct therapeutic vascular interventions such as angioplasty and stenting.
- Administer thrombolytic and embolization therapies.
- Execute various interventional procedures, including central lines, port-a-cath insertions, and biopsies.
- Handle pain management procedures and various drainage techniques.
- Respond to emergency call-backs as needed.
- Maintain accurate patient records using EMR (Epic).
Qualifications:
- Board Certified in Radiology.
- Active North Dakota medical license or IMLC.
- Completion of an Interventional Radiology residency or fellowship.
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications.
- Experience with all required procedures, detailed in the application.
- Clean malpractice history preferred.
License and Certification Requirements:
