  • Call Ratio: 1:1
  • Facility is looking for a provider who can cover 2 weekends/month and the following Monday/Tuesday.

  • Patient Volume/Census: 6-12 patients per day
  • Case Mix: Adolescent Psychiatry

  • Specialty Backup Available: Multidisciplinary team
PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE
  • Hospital Privileges Required: Yes
  • Credentialing Timeline: 60-90 days
REQUIRED PROCEDURES
  • Psychiatric medication management
  • Admission evaluations and orders
  • Individualized treatment planning
  • Multidisciplinary team leadership
JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • Board: BC in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry or BC in General Psychiatry with CAP fellowship
  • DEA: CA DEA with Schedule 2/2n
  • Certifications: BLS (AHA)
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Provide clinical care to adolescent psychiatric patients, including rounding and on-site consultations.
  • Perform admission evaluations and place appropriate orders for new patients.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary team.
  • Manage psychiatric medications and perform psychopharmacological interventions.
  • Provide on-call coverage during nights and weekends, including after-hours admission and patient management.
