Job description

Position Type: Emergency Medicine Locum Tenens
Location: Ohio (multiple sites)
Pay Rate: Up to $280/hour
Start Date: As soon as credentialed

Highlights:

  • Night & Weekend Coverage 12-hour shifts: 8 PM to 8 AM

  • Volume: 20,000 annual ED visits

  • Beds: 11-bed ED with fast track

  • Trauma Level: No official trauma designation

  • Admission Rate: 17% of ED patients

  • Transfer Rate: Less than 7%

  • Consults Available: Cardiology, GI, Pulm, Onc, Radiology, Urology

  • EMR Systems: AllScripts & Paragon

  • Physicians write their own admission orders

  • Must supervise APPs

Must-Have Requirements:

  • Board Certification (ABMS/AOA only) in EM, IM, or FM

  • Active OH License or IMLC with LOQ

  • COVID Vaccination REQUIRED

  • Certifications: ACLS, ATLS, BLS, PALS, NRP no exceptions

  • Minimum Experience: 2+ years recent ED experience

  • Availability: Must be open to nights & weekends
